For our first photo assignment, I decided to focus on the subject Animals. I wanted to try photographing my pets, but worried that I would have some trouble getting one of them to behave. Luckily, she wasn't feeling as hyper that day so I was able to use her as a subject. I was taking pictures indoors, so I had lots of practice with adjusting the shutter speed, iso, and aperture in order to get a decent exposure. Overall I had a lot of fun with this assignment, but next time I'd like to try photographing a wider variety of subjects. Shutter Speed: 1/125 sec Aperture: f 4.5 ISO: 1600
I retouched this photo just a bit to remove some gunk by Suzi's eye and spots in her fur.

I really enjoy this picture, especially how the eye falls on the third line. One thing I would do if I took this picture is up the contrast and lower the brightness. This would end up adding more feel to the picture. When I look at this picture, I don't really feel much, so changing a few things up may make it have a mood to it. I really like this picture, it just could use a few edits.

I absolutely love your photo! The way you used the light background to brighten the overall image. The subject is well placed, and the use of different colors to contrast each other is phenomenal. Had it been my image, personally, I would've cropped it a little differently to shave off that right side a bit. Finally, I'd like to say: your retouching is really good!! If I didn't read it, I wouldn't have noticed.
